Jerry Wilson powered the Jacksonville Suns to a win over the Biloxi Shuckers. The final score was 7-6. The Jacksonville right fielder, who is tied for 4th in the SL in stolen bases with 19, was phenomenal. He stroked 3 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. Luis Fuentes recorded the save, making him 35 for 37. The Suns have an impressive 65-38 record.

Jacksonville used a well-timed hit by Xavier Brown to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Suns ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Wilson told the Jacksonville Daily News.
