Pitcher Pete Williams was sensational for the Biloxi Shuckers in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Jackson Generals. Williams earned the win. In 6.1 innings, Williams surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed no runs.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Cliff Randall? The 24-year old first baseman Randall stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put Biloxi up, 3-0. For the game, he was 2 for 3, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Williams.

The last-place Shuckers have won 4 in a row.
