Biloxi third baseman Ernie Brewster was instrumental in helping the Shuckers triumph, 6-2, over the Jackson Generals. Brewster was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win puts Biloxi at 31-60.

Brewster contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Biloxi in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Brewster took a changeup from Rayan Hamon and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Shuckers to leap in front, 2-1.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Biloxi skipper Michael Barrett.
