Lookouts Upend Generals, 6-0
|
Starting pitcher Bernardo Quintela did his part in helping the Chattanooga Lookouts thwart the Jackson Generals, 6-0. The Lookouts sit in 4th place in the North Division with a record of 33-54.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Luis Espinoza? The 23-year old left fielder Espinoza stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put Chattanooga up, 3-0. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Quintela.
