The Montgomery Biscuits handed the Biloxi Shuckers a 5-4 defeat at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Left Fielder Jendrzej Geremek starred for Montgomery. He was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Montgomery reliever Josh Cox picked up the win, upping his record to 1-6. José Martínez took the loss. The loss makes Biloxi 24-52.

Eric Faulkner was the walk-off hero for Montgomery. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Biscuits catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Faulkner told the Montgomery News. "Whatever it takes."
