Jackson 8-3 Win Hard-Earned
Jackson Generals starter Andy Ashley found his groove in his team's 8-3 win over the Biloxi Shuckers. Jackson reliever Andy Ashley picked up the win, while Max Lee took the loss for Biloxi. Their 32-26 record puts the Generals second in the North Division.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Cristián Martínez came to bat in the top of the 17th. Facing Biloxi pitcher Glen Moore, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Jackson on top, 4-3.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Ashley.
