Chattanooga and Montgomery duked it out and the Lookouts came out victorious.

Good production from third baseman Ed Bingham helped the Chattanooga Lookouts topple the Montgomery Biscuits, 6-4. Bingham went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Lookouts. Duane Hutchins closed it out for Chattanooga, earning his 6th save.

Bob Dyer helped out the Chattanooga cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-4 with a double.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Bingham.

Chattanooga now has a record of 35-22 with the win.
