The Chattanooga Lookouts topped the Jackson Generals, 3-2, in Southern League action at The Ballpark at Jackson. The game was highlighted by the performance of Chattanooga pitcher Jeremy Miller. Duane Hutchins nailed down the save. With the win, Chattanooga has a record of 33-19. Jackson falls to 32-20.

Had Jud Holland not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Holland hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Lookouts.
