Biloxi Nets 4-3 Win Versus Barons
|
The Biloxi Shuckers did just enough to secure a victory over the Birmingham Barons, 4-3, in 11 innings at Regions Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Berto Amoyo. Biloxi reliever Ken Featherstone was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-5. Jeff Jones took the loss for Birmingham. With the win, the Shuckers are 12-38.
Jeff Clark had a direct impact on the outcome. Clark contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Biloxi up, 4-3.
Clark said his team "played with determination."
