The Chattanooga Lookouts and Biloxi Shuckers completed their game despite the rain.

The Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Biloxi Shuckers, 6-4, in Southern League action at AT&T Field. Chattanooga pitcher Chris Ford had a standout performance. Ford picked up the win for Chattanooga, going 5.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 3-2.

Dave Stone had a big 2-run double for the Lookouts in the bottom of the first inning. With Chattanooga leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Pat Slusher and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lookouts ahead, 5-0.

"I like our moxie," said Lookouts manager Mike Johns.
