Chattanooga Lookouts starter Jeremy Miller kept the Biloxi Shuckers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Chattanooga has now won 5 straight, while the Shuckers have lost 3 in a row.

In the bottom of the fifth, Orlando Rivera delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Chattanooga first baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Lookouts in front, 6-2.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Chattanooga manager Mike Johns.
