The home crowd had a good time watching the Jackson Generals and Montgomery Biscuits get after it.

The Jackson Generals got a superb performance from catcher Hugh Herring, but the Montgomery Biscuits still won the game, 8-4. Herring was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win puts Montgomery at 14-22.

Early in the game, left fielder José González had a 2-run double for Montgomery. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Biscuits on top, 2-0.
