Birmingham Slaps 6-2 Loss on Mobile
At Hank Aaron Stadium, the Mobile BayBears and Birmingham Barons were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Birmingham parlayed a decent outing from starter Carlos Bennett into a solid win over the Mobile BayBears. The final score was 6-2. After today's action, Birmingham sits at 18-18; Mobile slips to 18-17.

Birmingham took a 6-2 lead on Chris Farris's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Farris hit in the top of the eighth, left Mobile pitcher Milo Svela visibly frustrated.

Farris called the win "a collective effort."
