Spirited fans greeted the Montgomery Biscuits for their clash with the Jackson Generals.

Benefiting from Joe Clark's productive game, the Jackson Generals downed the Montgomery Biscuits, 8-3. Clark was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Generals. The win elevated the Generals to 21-14.

Jackson used a well-timed hit by Onil Pena to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Generals ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Preston Guilmet.
