Shuckers Earn 5-4 Win Versus Blue Wahoos
The Biloxi Shuckers had to overcome a fine effort from Pensacola pitcher Micheal Johnston to win, 5-4, at Five County Stadium. Johnston went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Dave Fehilly claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-0. Juan Figueroa earned the save for Biloxi, his 1st.

Biloxi used the timely hitting of Andy Morley to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Shuckers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Morley.

By defeating Pensacola, the last-place Shuckers improved to 13-20.
