					| The Pensacola Blue Wahoos called upon starter Bruno Quinn, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Jackson Generals, 4-2. Quinn, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Picking up the save was António Castaneda, his 9th. 
 Pensacola designated hitter Von Carter helped the Blue Wahoos go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Carter hit a run-scoring  single off Jackson pitcher Stu Brown.
 
 Pensacola manager Chad Allen praised his team's "energy."
