The Montgomery Biscuits cut down the Tennessee Smokies by the score of 8-5, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Daniel Moreno. Moreno went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Biscuits. The Smokies fall to 9-14 and continue their uneven start to the 2026 season.

Danny Phillips drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Montgomery. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Juan Vega. It was his 2nd walk of the season.
