Suns Upend Biscuits, 5-2
|
Jacksonville third baseman Xavier Brown was instrumental in helping the Suns triumph, 5-2, over the Montgomery Biscuits. Brown went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. The save was credited to Gunnar Walsh, his 1st. The Suns, now 14-6, have been playing some good baseball.
Jacksonville shortstop Manny García helped the Suns go up, 2-1, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, García hit a run-scoring single off Montgomery pitcher Jeremy Fox.
"We've got a great group of guys," Brown said, "and we're having fun right now."
