Twins Lose to Rangers, 4-2
|
Texas turned a good performance from starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. into a 4-2 triumph over the Minnesota Twins at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Minnesota's current losing streak is now 4 games.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from right fielder Wes Erickson. For the game, Erickson went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Texas a 4-1 lead.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Erickson.
