New York starter Juan Mismit pitched well against the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. The winner in relief was Joe Malone. He is now 2-3. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Mets sport a record of 58-96.
