Orioles Make It 5 Straight with 7-1 Win
The Baltimore Orioles went home winners at Rogers Centre, thanks in large part to starter Kyle Heckbert. Heckbert stifled the Toronto Blue Jays, enabling Baltimore to grab the 7-1 win. The winner was Heckbert. He threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Chris Sale. The second-place Blue Jays have dropped 5 straight games.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Alfredo Ramos? The Baltimore center fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Orioles on top, 2-0. For the game, Ramos had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Baltimore manager Jackson Melian.
