Toronto catcher Yasmani Grandal had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the New York Yankees, 7-6. The second-place Blue Jays have won 4 consecutive games.

Grandal had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Shawn Harris, he banged a grand slam home run to right-center, giving the Blue Jays a 7-4 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Grandal.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Blue Jays manager José Soto, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
