Yankees Absorb 5-3 Home Loss
|
The Toronto Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees, 5-3, at Yankee Stadium. Toronto right fielder Dan Prince led the way. He went 4-4 with 4 singles. He scored 3 runs. José Amaya converted his 17th save in 21 tries. Toronto raised its record to 78-63 with the win.
It could have been a different outcome for Toronto, had it not been for Josh Morgan, the 29-year old third baseman . Morgan contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Toronto up, 3-0.
"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Prince said (again).
