Nationals Upend Phillies, 4-2

Behind a fine performance from Miguel Sano, the Washington Nationals knocked off the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-2. Sano went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Nationals. The winning pitcher was Braden Shipley. He's now 15-5. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits for the Nationals. Washington raised its record to 76-66 with the win.
With Washington leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Sano hit a cutter from Kevin Weber for a 2-run home run. It was his 29th home run of the season and put the Nationals ahead, 4-0.
