The Arizona Diamondbacks locked up a win at Chase Field, knocking off the Texas Rangers, 4-1. On the mound for Arizona was right-hander Dan Crawford. He played a major role in the triumph. Dan Caine picked up the save for Arizona, his 4th of the year. The setback makes Texas 68-71.

Christopher Torres was 1 for 2 with a walk for Arizona. The 27-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Tim Hurst. It was his 80th hit of the season.

"We had a good game plan," Crawford said, "and we were able to execute it."
