Philadelphia Phillies starter Tim Cooney found his groove in his team's 9-6 win over the New York Mets. Cooney yielded 3 runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 12-6. Picking up the save was two-time All-Star Alex Claudio.
