Minnesota Makes Toronto 10-5 Losers

The Minnesota Twins powered past the Toronto Blue Jays, 10-5, at Rogers Centre. Magneuris Sierra went 2-4 with a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Jared Turner, the winning pitcher, is now 11-8. He went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits, while fanning 6 and walking 1. Minnesota now sports a record of 57-75.
In the top of the third, Minnesota shortstop Greg Watts had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Watts stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 5-3, Minnesota. For the game, he went 2 for 3 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.
