Giants Earn Late Win
The Tampa Bay Rays got a superb performance from pitcher Chris Stephenson. Still, it wasn't enough to beat San Francisco. The Giants won the game, 2-1. Stephenson threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The second-place Giants have won 4 straight games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Nolan Arenado in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Joe Montgomery to win the game for San Francisco. The home crowd went nuts.

"It wasn't easy, but we got it done," said Arenado.
