Progressive Field played host to some high drama.

Juan González led the charge as the Cleveland Guardians defeated the Minnesota Twins, 8-7, in 13 innings at Progressive Field. González went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Kenley Jansen, who finished 3rd in the NL in saves with 44 in 2014, was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Julián López.

Cleveland got a knockout punch from Vladimir Guerrero Jr.. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said González.

The win puts the Guardians at 44-66, while the Twins drop to 51-60.
