In a tight contest between the Atlanta Firebirds and the Texas Rangers, Rocky Edwards was the determining factor. The Atlanta left-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. Joel Nelson got credit for the save for Atlanta. It was his 15th of the year. The victory puts Atlanta at 43-63.
