The Colorado Rockies picked up a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, dropping the Baltimore Orioles, 3-2. Steve Rhind, who is tied for 5th in the NL in complete games with 1, was the difference-maker. Colorado is in 4th place in the National League West Division with a record of 54-49.

Ed Mann came through with a big-time hit for Colorado. The second baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We were in it," said Baltimore manager Jackson Melian. "We just didn't score enough runs."
