The 8-6 Minnesota win over Cleveland was due in large part to Danny Badger. The Twins designated hitter went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. The win was credited to 29-year old left-handed pitcher Tommy Meyers in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Hunter Harvey took the loss. Jorge Fajardo was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 32 of 35 save opportunities.

With Minnesota leading 6-5 in the top of the fourth, Badger hit a fastball from Abel Haney for a solo home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Twins ahead, 7-5.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Badger, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."

With the win, Minnesota raised its record to 55-47.
