Pittsburgh Pirates starter Nate Karns pitched a strong game against the Houston Astros at PNC Park, leading the Pirates to victory, 6-3. With the win, Pittsburgh raised its record to 53-41.
The Pirates picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Karns said.
