Great American Ball Park was the site of a tense game between the Cincinnati Reds and Miami Marlins.

Marcus Stroman pitched a gem in leading Miami to a 3-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. Picking up the save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Robby Parkinson.

Stroman, the Miami right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits. He collected 6 strikeouts.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Stroman.

Miami goes to 52-37. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
