Camil Groza impressed in the 4-2 Kansas City win over Pittsburgh. Groza, who is tied for 7th in the AL with a .331 batting average, was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Royals now own a record of 48-43.

Groza had a timely hit for Kansas City in the bottom of the sixth. With Kansas City trailing 2-0, he turned a 0-1 changeup into a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Kansas City.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Groza said in reaction to the win.
