Minnesota right fielder Artie Cochran collected 3 ribbies while his team bumped off the Tampa Bay Rays, 7-6, in 10 innings. Julián López, credited with the win in relief, is now 3-2. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1 innings. The loss makes Tampa Bay 41-48.

The decisive blow was delivered by Andy Townsend in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off former first round draft pick Joe Montgomery to win the game for Minnesota. The home crowd went nuts.
