					| Mets Lose at Home, 7-4 |
					| The Washington Nationals picked up a win at Citi Field, taking down the New York Mets, 7-4. Starting pitcher Kirk Griffith was a big reason why. Griffith yielded 2 runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 8. His record improves to 6-3. Dominic Bingham picked up the save, his 2nd.
Washington used the hitting of Miguel Sano to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Nationals on top, 4-0. For the game, Sano had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Washington manager Mark Grudzielanek.

Washington has now won 4 straight.
