Tigers Prevail, 4-3, Over WL
|
WL left-hander Quentin Ramírez made an effective start against the WL Padres at Ballpark of Versailles, leading his team to a 4-3 win. WL, at 12-16, sits in last place in the League 1 Central.
The Tigers got a big at-bat from second baseman Angel Aguilar. For the game, Aguilar was 1 for 4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 7th home run of the season gave WL a 4-3 lead.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said WL manager Mike Fetters.
