Braves Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
The first-place WL Braves welcomed WL to El Campo Fields.
The WL Braves downed the WL Royals, 5-2, at El Campo Fields. Leonardo Molina led the way, going 2-for-4 for WL. José Fierro closed the game out for WL, earning his 7th save.
The Braves got a big at-bat from right fielder Zak Taylor. For the game, Taylor went 1 for 4. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave WL a 3-2 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Taylor.
The Braves have an impressive 15-8 record.
