Still Kicking: Boston (GCL) Cut Detroit (GCL) Series Lead to 3-1 With Late Win
Already down in the Round 3, the Boston (GCL) Red Sox put on their best show, beating the Detroit (GCL) Tigers by a final score of 9-3 today. Rocky Fox was special. He was 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Boston (GCL) now trails Detroit (GCL) 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Boston (GCL) used a clutch hit from Nate Martin to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Red Sox ahead, 7-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
