The Milwaukee Brewers had to reckon with San Francisco Giants hurler Juan Sánchez. Sánchez overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-0 Giants triumph. San Francisco goes to 28-35, Milwaukee to 39-22.

San Francisco used a well-timed hit by Jurickson Profar to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Giants ahead, 6-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

San Francisco manager Travis Fryman called it "a pretty good win."
