Ross Blasts Drive, Shorebirds Take Game 6, 5-2
The Delmarva Shorebirds and the Greenville Drive will take the Round 2 to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Shorebirds beat the Drive, 5-2, at Fluor Field at the West End to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Delmarva designated hitter Reginald Ross was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice.

With the game tied, 1-1, in the top of the sixth, Ross had a key at-bat for Delmarva. With a runner on 2nd, Ross hit a 2-run home run off António González, making the score 3-1, Shorebirds.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Ross said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Fluor Field at the West End in Greenville.
