The Oklahoma City Dodgers were good enough to get past the El Paso Chihuahuas at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark today and secure the 1st championship in franchise history.

"When you wear Dodgers on your shirt, you're good at something," Oklahoma City skipper Mitch Moreland told the press.

Dodgers second baseman Hoy-Jun Park was named MVP of the series after he went .429 with 2 home runs and 12 runs batted in.

"It feels totally incredible," Park said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."

The new champions capped off a great season with a 6-2 victory over the Chihuahuas to win the Round 2 4-3.
