C Colina Lights Up Grizzlies for 5 RBIs as Rainiers Tie R1
With catcher Jose Colina leading the charge, the Tacoma Rainiers defeated the visiting Fresno Grizzlies, 14-4, in Game 2 of the Round 1. Colina was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 at Cheney Stadium to help Tacoma force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

In the bottom of the fourth, Tacoma left fielder Greg Jones had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Jones stroked a 2-run double to center. It made the score 6-1, Tacoma. For the game, he went 3-5 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Rainiers manager Mario Garza said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Chukchansi Park in Fresno.
