Salinas on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Texas
It was a sensational day at the plate for Alfredo Salinas as he led the charge to a nifty 12-6 win over the Rangers. The Toronto left fielder was pure misery for the Texas pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Salinas put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Ron Robinson, manager for the Rangers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

Alfredo Salinas singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Yeralf Torres in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Yeralf Torres in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.

Salinas's current batting average stands at .287 and he has chalked up 9 home runs and 37 RBIs.
