The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Mets, 5-3, in National League action at Citi Field. Los Angeles pitcher Spike Henry had a standout performance. This loss makes it 6 in a row for New York.

Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by Greg Henderson to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Raul Dominguez told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
