Cubs Come Up Short at Tampa Bay (VSL), 5-4

Good production from designated hitter Phil Camacho helped the Tampa Bay (VSL) Rays topple the Chicago (VSL) Cubs, 5-4. Camacho went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Rays. Tampa Bay (VSL)'s record now stands at 20-23, placing them third in the Venezuelan Rookie League.
The Rays got a big at-bat from left fielder Walt Burch. For the game, Burch went 2-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Tampa Bay (VSL) a 5-4 lead.
Burch expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
