The Minnesota Twins outlasted the Kansas City Royals, 8-7, in 10 innings. Gabriel Corporan led the way, going 2-for-4 for Minnesota. The winner was Jorge Fajardo in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Jefferson Vergara took the loss. The setback makes Kansas City 27-25.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Corporan hit a fastball from Jefferson Vergara for a run-scoring single. The Twins, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Corporan.
