The seasons of the New York N (DSL) Mets 1 and the Houston 2 (DSL) Astros Orange hung in the balance, with a one-game showdown at New York Mets Complex to decide who would play in the Division Series.

When the game came to an end, it was New York N (DSL) making it out of the Wildcard Series, with a 4-1 win, while Houston 2 (DSL) players could not hide the disappointment on their faces.

"Celebrating a series win is always exciting, whether it's a one-game playoff or a series that goes the distance," said Pete Crawford, who went 2-for-3 to earn game MVP honors. "The guys in the room are happy with this one."

It's now on to the Division Series, where Crawford said "expectations will still be sky-high" as the club looks to keep moving forward.

The New York N (DSL) Mets 1 don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Kansas City (DSL) Royals - Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue series. That series has not started yet. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
