Detroit (VSL) Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Detroit (VSL) Tigers got their 2023 Venezuelan Rookie League season off to a good start, defeating the Tampa Bay (VSL) Rays, 10-9. Tommy Robinson set the pace. He went 3-3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

Zhi-bin Li electrified the crowd in the bottom of the tenth when he took Tampa Bay (VSL) pitcher Manny Velasco deep. His solo home run sent the Tigers home winners.

"We came out aggressive," said Tigers manager Nestor Rojas. "We came out swinging the bats."
